The theory month.
Four focused weeks delivered hybrid: clinic days in London, tutor led online workshops. Roughly 100 study hours alongside any part time work.
Week 2
Drafting and document discipline
Drafting attendance notes, letters before action, basic contracts and pleadings to partner standard.
Week 3
Specialism deep dive
Choose property, commercial, family, employment, litigation or private client. Worked examples and live matters.
Week 4
Ethics, CV and interview
Difficult conversations, money laundering red flags, a CV rewrite to the format law firms want, mock interviews with hiring partners.

The placement months.
Twelve weeks inside a UK law firm in our network, working real files alongside a partner or senior solicitor.

Month 2
Onboarding and supervision
You join a partner firm. Shadow files, sit in on client calls, observe how a working file is run end to end.

Month 3
Supervised drafting
You draft real documents under supervision: attendance notes, letters, schedules and basic contracts that the partner signs off.

Month 4
Towards an offer
You take on chargeable work in your specialism. The placement consultant works with the firm to convert placement into a permanent role.
